Chris Sha, MD

Associate Professor

Chris is a General Internist practicing at the San Francisco Veterans Affairs Medical Center (SFVAMC) Medical Practice Clinic, where he also serves as a preceptor for residents and interdisciplinary trainees. He serves as the Site Director for medical students in the clinic who are on their yearlong immersive primary care rotation as well.

Chris is the Associate Director for Curriculum and a faculty member of the interdisciplinary primary care training program at the VA, EdPACT, which is the primary care training program for MD residents, NP students and residents, Pharmacy residents, and post-doctoral Psychology fellows. He also has an interest in developing and expanding Mindfulness & Meditation offerings for trainees & faculty at the VA and UCSF, and currently runs half-day meditation retreats.
