Population Health and Policy Group
The population health and policy group is a team of investigators with core investigators located within the SFVA and made up of multidisciplinary collaborators across the country.
The group has expertise in multiple different areas including health services research, drug safety, epidemiology, substance abuse and mental health. The goal is to use the group’s experience in conducting large surveys and healthcare database analyses to provide critical information on the public health impact of local and national policies. The group is currently focused examining the health effects of cannabis use and the policy ramifications of recreational legalization.
