  • To describe the history and rationale behind the 2021 Federal Diabetes Commission
  • To enumerate the novel framework that informed the work of the 2021 Federal Diabetes Commission
  • To review specific recommendations of the 2021 Federal Diabetes Commission,  drawing connections to the ways in which UCSF/SFGH faculty drew from  their own clinical experience and developed the evidence base for trans-sector recommendations
  • To share effective strategies for policy advocacy harnessed for this Commission
